How we handle your data while you're using PropApp.

Last updated · 15 May 2026

These are placeholder terms while our legal review completes. The final document will be published before any paid features go live. If you need the current operating terms, email legal@propapp.com.au.

Summary, in plain English.

We collect three things: the account details you give us when you sign up, the brief preferences you tell us so we can match listings, and behavioural analytics about how you use the app. That's it.

We don't sell your data. We don't share it with marketers. Agents only see your brief once you've opted in to a match — and even then, your name and contact details stay private until you say otherwise.

AU data residency is a hard line for us. All data is stored on Supabase Sydney (ap-southeast-2). It does not leave Australia.

Your rights.

You can ask us for a copy of everything we hold on you, export it, or have it deleted. While we finish building the self-serve controls, you can do all three by emailing privacy@propapp.com.au. We respond within five business days.

We operate under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. If you're not happy with how we've handled a request, you can escalate to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Full policy, coming soon.

The full policy is under legal review and will be published here before we charge anyone for anything. If you have a question that can't wait, write to legal@propapp.com.au and a real person will reply.
